Our company, HUNGARIAN GAS STORAGE Lt. (HGS) – which has always been committed to anti-corruption – has, in accordance with the guidelines of the Parent Company, implemented an Anti-Corruption Management System meeting the requirements of the MSZ ISO 37001:2019 standard, with effect from 1 August 2023.

The purpose of introducing the Anti-Corruption Management System (ACMS) is to ensure commitment to the prevention, detection and management of corruption, as well as to compliance with anti-corruption legislation.

In fostering an ethical culture free from corruption, abuse and integrity incindents, every HGS employee and manager plays a key role by setting a personal example. HGS applies the principle of zero tolerance to any form of corruption. To ensure corruption-free operations, HGS  provides both the employees and the existing and future business partners with the necessary knowledge and information to avoid such negative behaviour.  In the event of an incident that violates integrity, suggests misconduct or constitutes an ethical offence, or where there is a suspicion of corruption, the Company supports its employees and business partners in taking the appropriate steps, while also ensuring that they have the opportunity to report such incidents.

Reporting Anti-Corruption and Integrity Incidents



HUNGARIAN GAS STORAGE Ltd. has established the rules of procedure for managing organisational integrity incidents in accordance with the provisions of Government Decree No. 339/2019 (XII.23), and has introduced, maintains and develops an Anti-Corruption Management System that complies with the requirements of the MSZ ISO 37001:2019 standard, so that, within this framework, by establishing a regulatory system for receiving and investigating reports of misconduct, misconduct and corruption risks related to the Company’s operations, it can contribute to the effective management of corruption risks within the Company.

HGS provides the following options for receiving the above reports:

  • by phone at +30 20 569 3960,
  • by filling in the “Form for Reporting Organisational Integrity Incidents, Suspected Misconduct or Corruption-Related Incidents”
    • electronically at the email address bejelentes@mfgt.hu.
    • in paper form, by mail or other delivery means, in a sealed envelope
  • The envelope must be marked “SK” (for the addressee only) and sent to the head of the Compliance Support Organization, Ildikó Fülekiné Varga-Kovács, at the Company’s address: 1138 Budapest, Váci út 144-150. 1138 Budapest, Váci út 144-150.
  • The Company provides for the possibility of anonymous reporting so that the report can be sent by regular mail to the Company’s address (1138 Budapest, Váci út 144-150) addressed to the “Head of the Compliance Support Organization” without indicating the sender’s name.
